Accomodations
Studentsamskipnaden in Trondheim (SiT) is a student welfare association to help you get settled into your new abode. The enrollment fee you pay to us includes membership of SiT, and you’ll benefit from access to a wide range of activities and services. For example: accommodation, fitness centre, health services, food, kindergarten and work in clubs and associations.
Housing
You can apply for student accommodation via SiT, which has a wide range of digs and flats. You’re also welcome to see what you can find yourself on the private market.
Register your move
If you’re a Swedish, Danish, Icelandic or Finnish national, you’ll have to register with the Norwegian Folkeregisteret (registry office) to live in Norway.
Finanical aid
If you are entitled to student grants in your homeland, you can usually use them in Norway. Check what applies in your own country.
Language
Lectures at the school is mainly in Norwegian. Usually this is not a problem for most students. If necessary, interviews and counselling can be provided in English.
